See the NY Times archive here:

This is so interesting to see the images and to see them as objects with writing on the back.

Lively Morgue

Photography in all three UAH Galleries

I am so pleased with the photo exhibits up in the galleries now. Two graduating photographers: Setareh Tajbakhsh and Kirstin Cooksey. And one visiting artist: Lee Steenhuis.
Setareh's work is from her visit back home to Iran this past summer. See these 30 amazing images in the Wilson Hall Gallery through March 10th.
In Union Grove Gallery Kirstin Cooksey takes us through an uncomfortable and "Unsettling Time". This is the last week for Kirstin's show so do not miss it. It comes down March 2nd.

In the Salmon Library Gallery we have Lee Steenhuis exhibiting "Hippies, Faeries & Trolls". Lee shows her documentary work on these communities in Tennessee from the 1980s through 2000.
Her show is up until March 9th and Lee will give a slide show at the closing reception on March 8th beginning at 4:30 in the gallery.

Addison photographs Wilson Hall with 19th century technique

Addison Brown in his darkroom processing his Wet Plate Collodion image. It could be the first time UAH has been photographed on a glass plate negative.
